<description>Thanks for this terrific interview with Elissa Stein, about menstruation, and in particular, about FLOW. It is a wonderful (and much needed) book.

I also had the pleasure of interviewing Elissa for Keeper.com. She was a WEALTH of information. You may listen to the interview by going to Keeper.com and clicking on “New: Audio Interviews” on the left. Elissa’s interview is the first one.

Also, to back up FLOW&#039;s assertion about the amount of waste caused by throwaway menstrual products, please take a look at the comparison photos on Keeper.com: They show the amount of waste that is caused by one woman&#039;s use of tampons for (a) one month, (b) 1 year, (c) 10 years, and (d) a lifetime.

(HINT: we needed a DUMP TRUCK to show one woman&#039;s lifetime use!!)

To see these comparison photos, please go to our website, and (again, on the left), click on “New: Photos.”

Again, thanks so much for writing about this wonderful book. People have been &quot;in the closet&quot; too long about the topic of menstruation.
