Thanks for visiting my virtual office where I hope to educate and empower others about healthy sexuality.
I think it’s endlessly fascinating … It’s simple, yet complex … Pure but profane … Natural, yet scary as hell. It’s what attracts people, and what often drives them apart. It is the reason we all exist. It’s part of our most basic humanity — yet it’s not polite dinner conversation. On one hand, sex is everywhere, but we’re still so uneducated and uninspired.
Every school-aged child learns the importance of the Five Senses, but how much do we learn about SENSUALITY? Science probes the mysteries of pain and pharmaceutical companies make millions from our desire to avoid it, but what do we know about PLEASURE? We know that babies need loving physical touch in order to thrive, but don’t adults need it too?
See, fascinating, isn’t it?
I am thinking about sex all the time, it’s my job, but it’s also my passion. As a clinical sexologist, my role is to study what people do sexually and how they feel about it. Frankly, I don’t necessarily care what people do and this blog isn’t about positions or techniques. However, I am curious about how people think and feel about sex.
I love helping people find more satisfaction and healing in their intimate relationships and in their personal lives. I welcome comments and insights. Share! I hope what appears on these pages will inform and inspire you!
